Join us for Cooking with the Three Sisters: Ancestral Plants and Modern Techniques, a hands-on cooking class on Saturday, December 6th from 1-3pm at the Dover Public Library. Chef Joe Rocchi (Pamunkey) will lead participants in preparing three dishes from culturally meaningful varieties of Corn and Squash grown in The Three Sisters Garden using modern techniques. You’ll flex your culinary creativity, learn about the plants' significance in the Lenape and Nanticoke communities, and carry on culinary traditions based in sustainability and sovereignty.
